Installation and Assembly (SFW)

Course Content:
Enable learners to attain competencies in performing their work functions and tasks with proficiency to “execute installation and assembly of equipment and system components” in the context of work as a Fit-Out Specialist.

Course Objectives:
At the end of each learning unit, the learner will be able to:

  • Prepare for installation and assembly
  • Perform and conduct installation and assembly

Trainer:
Mr Poh Hit Hong
With more than 30 years of experience in carpentry, factory management, furniture production and training for both SMEs and MNCs. A consultant and carpentry Master Trainer whom works closely with organizations by providing industry best practices in technical and production areas, training solutions as well as being a Master Trainer for Singapore’s first Creative Craftsman Apprenticeship Programme.

  • SME-sponsored: $3,420.00
    (SC/PR of all ages)
  • Non-SME sponsored/ Self-sponsored: $5,220.00
    (SC below 40 years old; PR of all ages)
  • Non-SME sponsored/ Self-sponsored: $3,420.00
    (SC 40 years old and above)

Funding & Claims
To be eligible for funding, company-sponsored staff attending courses must be employed by company, and company also contributes CPF to staff.
– Foreigners may attend short courses but are not entitled to course fee subsidy and absentee payroll funding.
– SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit(SFEC) supportable (https://sfec-microsite.enterprisejobskills.gov.sg/home/).
– Absentee payroll claimable ($4.50 per hour).
– Supported under NTUC’s UTAP
Self-sponsored individuals must be at least 21 years old
